How to set event goals in Google Analytics - pankaj0008 - 07-23-2018

Hello members, I want to track visits to my website. So I have used button tracking on my website. But Now I am unable to set the event goal. How to do this?

You can set the goal in Google analytics.

1. Select proper Account / Property in Google Analytics.
2. Navigate to Admin > Goals.
3. Click “New Goal”
4. Under “Acquisition” click the radio button for “Create an Account”
5. Name the goal and select the “Event” radio button.
6. You will be given four categories.

Go to your Google Analytics standard reports.
Click on the “Admin” button in the top right.
Click on “Goals”
From one of the Goal sets, click “+ Goal” (goal sets are just a way for you to easily group goals) to set up a new goal.

1. Decide on what user behaviours on your site you want to track as a goal.
2. Modify your site to track these events in your Google Analytics account.
3. Setting up Event goals in the Google Analytics Admin panel.

Sign in to Google Analytics.
Click Admin, and navigate to the desired view.
In the VIEW column, click Goals.
Click + NEW GOAL or Import from Gallery to create a new goal, or click an existing goal to edit its configuration.
