In ad words the headline should be of 30 chars and the condensed description can be of 80 chars.

As on July 26, AdWords rolled out new character limits that change the way text ads display content. The new character count is 30-30-80, and consists of: two headlines of up to 30 characters of text; and. one condensed description line of up to 80 characters.

Headline 1: 30 characters
Headline 2: 30 characters
Description: 80 characters

Character limit for Adwords ad is 25 character limit per callout. Minimum of 2 callouts must be loaded in order to be eligible to show.
