We just put those words that suits the image not just some random keywords just to attract visitors.

Google or any search engines don't understand the image it just crawls it and pass it away. So in order to get extra benefit seo guys use alt to tell the google about the image, here you can use keywords.

Adding alternative text to photos is first and foremost a principle of web accessibility. Visually impaired users using screen readers will be read an alt attribute to better understand an on-page image.

Image description is used as a keyword in Alt Text.
