In order to promote a forum which will work better a facebook closed group or facebook page?

I think Fb closed groups will work better instead of a facebook page.

Fb groups can be helpful but it takes some time to take off and need effort. And page's are easy. So you decide.

Go for FB page. Closed communities are very hard to promote and get members.

Facebook page will do for the promotion of the forum site but first establish the page to gain trust from the audience.
