What is the standard size of an article in a blog? 500 words or even more.

The fact is that there is no standard word count.

As long the words fulfill the article's purpose its enough.

Its not the size its the words that count. For the normal article 400 to 600 words will do for the submission while 300+ words will do for the blog posting.

Thanks for chipping in.

I have seen posts only having 150 words do fine in the SERP's rather then some posts which have 1000 words but doesn't provide any real value.

A good article should be unique and well written with the use of proper grammar. Its length should be between 400 to 600 words.
