Indexing is slow if you ask me. G isn't indexing anything on it's own. You have to submit each url manually to get indexed within 24 hours.

SERP's quality has increased I would say. Don't know how much time it will remain like this.

Google is not like any other legacy company. They are just like the con artists they are pulling something big and since many shareholders are making money specially the old money owners so everyone is letting it to be.
