CloudFlare as a new Domain Registrar !! - BiggyIdeas - 12-01-2023

Has anyone here tried them to register a brand new domain?

Actually I bought one. The process is complete. They also said they will sent an email as soon as the entire thing is completed at their end. But I haven't received any email from them.

It's pretty straight forward. You should be receiving the mail any minute now. If not received the check your spam folders. And also how long has to been anyway?

If you still haven't received anything after a reasonable amount of time, reaching out to their customer support could provide clarity.

I recently registered a new domain too, and while the process was smooth, I understand the frustration of not receiving confirmation emails. It's crucial to follow up with their support team if it's delayed. By the way, while I was waiting, I found myself playing Papa's Pizzeria to keep my spirits up—it’s a fun distraction! Did anyone else experience a delay or have tips for speedy domain registration?

I’ve registered domains before and had a similar experience. Sometimes, the email confirmation can take a bit longer than expected, so I’d suggest checking your spam folder just in case it ended up there. It can also help to double-check if the domain’s registration status is active in your account dashboard. I remember once registering a domain and it didn’t immediately show up in my inbox, but I was able to verify everything in the account. On a side note, while testing some security features for another project, I used a booter service to simulate some traffic stress and it gave me a good idea of how robust my domain setup was.
