These pretty simple such as through guest blogging, by distributing ebooks, forum marketing, through sending newsletters etc.

Create great content such as tutorials or how to's on those topics which are unique in your niche and actually helps people. And embed links of your product in the content through proper anchor texts. Or just put your product in the sidebar telling it has been referred by you.
