It does help in boosting traffic, website ranking, and brand awareness, but don't just settle for social bookmarking if you can do forum posting, blogging, etc.

Social bookmarking will add value to SEO, but the link Influencer Score will be much lesser compared to any other activity. there are certain sites like Delicious, blokube, gozoof, etc are few social bookmarking sites.
