Due to the recent penguin updates. Does my adwords campaigns are also going to get effected? I am new in the PPC business so I am worried about losing money.

These updates are for organic search rankings. PPC campaigns won't get effected by them.

You won't know unless you try it first. PPC campaigns are good for everything once done it right.
