Say, if you hire a web developer then how much access do you grant him or her to your site. I am just trying to understand how this works. Aren't you guys afraid that the developer might steal something from your site?

Usually if its only a web developer then we just grant access via an FTP account which doesn't have access to the site's database. So, they can't steal content if that's you are asking.

Just don't let them access your database. Its simple as that.
