Many sites is getting manual action penalties from Google recently. Are you guys seeing this too?
I am not sure what is exactly causing it? Because inbound links are good I checked them and there are no pattern among the sites as well.
I haven't got any penalties but sure there are some weird fluctuations going on in the SERP's.
There is an on-going update so nothing is confirmed yet. But I haven't heard anything about manual action penalty.
I don't think that you guys should be worried about this so much. Traffic is down due to holidays and festivals, in many parts of the world.
Yep some of the sites have been hit by MNP.
Now some blogs like seroundtable is reporting that there has been update on 4-5 September.

Some major fluctuations are visible specially in the news niche. Although I cannot confirm it.

are you referring to the weird SERP changes while showing the news? Its fixed you know, now. It was probably a bug.
Tomorrow is Monday so I am optimistic that this week will be better.
