Links from directories, can they be treated as backlinks? What do you guys think?
Links coming to your site are backlinks. Whether they are helping or not to get your site ranked, its a totally different thing.

Links from directories doesn't have impact on the SERP's but they certainly help in direct marketing.
Yes, Links getting back from directories are also counted in backlinks.
They don't help in ranking. If that's you are asking.

Not directly. They can get you some sweet links indirectly though. I got some. But they are paid directories that is to be said.

Links from directories yes. But not for backlink and SEO purposes.
Paid directories works for earning links. I have a ton of links which are earned from them.

yes they count as backlinks.....it doesnt affect to rank you website and organicc search
Yes, it count as backlinks, but Linking to directory sites doesn’t make sense for most, especially if you’re working on a site that has nothing to do with directories. Think about while making backlinks for your websites.
