Do you need always a good followers base to get conversions? I mean what you will do if you were new in the market.
Its not necessary that's for sure. Check what your audience wants and provide them that.
If you are starting from zero then first work on your brand exposure and then pitch products.

I got my product sold with no followers base. But that's just because of a good sales copy.
