I have two types of keywords in my account. One long tail ones and another which are short (only a word or two).

The basic bidding for those keywords are just the same. Which ones should I target through PPC Campaigns? As long as I am concerned both type of keywords can convert the same if done well.
Target the short kw's through PPC campaigns. The long tail ones can be targeted easily through content. Although there is factor that has to be taken into account that what's your competitors are doing.
Long tail kw's can be targetd easily without much effort. Focus on short ones through ad campaigns.
