When I buy something from an eCommerce sites they ask for email. Which I am happy to provide because through it can I track the status of the order.

But the irritating thing comes later. After receiving the order my email accounts still gets bombarded with emails. Unsubscribing them isn't an easy one and also often I can't find the unsubscribe button.

How do you guys do it? Do you guys also send newsletters like this? Sad
Hell NO. That will be completely unprofessional.

One opt-in obviously for the order status. And then once the order is received a second email asking about whether they want to subscribe for newsletters or not.

Don't blame marketers there are many cases where site owners directly ask you about it (by ticking a box or something) when you put the order for the first time.

Small and newbie sites often does this mistake. They use their first sale to build the opt-in which is wrong but they often don't understand the business strategy.
