I have collected emails from customers who were willing a year back. The list is double opt-in so I had hopes but I havn't been able to actually reach them out. What should I do?

Why you waited this long anyway?
I have build around 25 sets of lists. They all are good and live. But I have missed this one for some stupid mistake.
Send them simple email first, a greeting mails with a click back button should do the trick. Check first how they are responding then try to market them.
