Its good. But I think that OP should build brand awareness first because blog will do sure but it will take time.
Go for classified ad sites. And if you are running an eCommerce site then you better pack some money too. Free methods are good but its not a good business plan.

Free methods aren't going to get you anywhere specially as its an eCommerce store. You need a strong business model.

Attract as many links to the site as possible, get more referrals, create a blog, forum.
