We had invested around $500 of facebook ads per month. They had got few leads and no conversions so far. Yes we are targeting the right audience that's for sure.

In my opinion they FB ads are just good for brand awareness.
If you want conversions then go for Google adwords.
If you want conversions then go for Google adwords.

I agree apart from brand awareness. Its more good to invest in real visitors and real audience other than blasting around social media sites.

Its not entirely true they can generate leads too. But you will need extreme targeting and well maintained PPC campaign to get it.
