After changing content for one week we need keep the record of our websites statistics which definitely will show either improvements or decline.

Search engine loves pure and latest content. Moreover, if the new content contains proper keywords, it is definitely going to help in seo.

If you follow Google webmaster guidelines and perform optimization and also update original and relevant content it will surely benefit your webpage and help rank it higher in Google searches.
