How alt texts are important for an image?
Ther are important because they describes your image. To help them get better understanding for the search engines and the audience, and in turn to get better CTR.
Alt text is a tenet of accessible web design. Its original (and still primary) purpose is to describe images to visitors who are unable to see them. This includes screen readers and browsers that block images, but it also includes users who are sight-impaired or otherwise unable to visually identify an image. Including alt text with your images ensures all users, regardless of visual ability, can appreciate the content on your site.
Alt texts are HTML elements that are used to define an image for search engine crawling. Search engine spiders cannot read an image directly and hence alt texts are defined for them to know about the images and rank them in search engines.
Alt text is used to describe to search engines what the image is showing, allowing search engines to give users better results when performing an image search.
If you’ve built a website and started to learn about SEO, you are probably familiar with the term alt text. Put simply, alt text (also referred to as alternative text or alt tags) are used to describe the images on your web page.
