I have heard this term quite often but don't know what to make of it. Can anyone make it clear for me?

Content syndication is the process of pushing your blogpost, article, video or any piece of web-based content out to other third-parties who will then republish it on their own sites.

If you publish your content (it may be blog article or video or infograph etc) through a third party platform (say through youtube or any guest blog in your niche or instagram etc) in a regular and scheduled way then its called content syndication.
