Yeah, you can.Just make sure that they are open source or check for any other copyright issues.
Definitely check the site's 'Terms of use'. If the image is open source then better.
Since the question has already been answered so I will just add one point here. That don't just take any image. Take the one which is unique and hasn't been public too much.
