Apart from Competition & Demand what do you guys see in a keyword?

We specially check that if we build content according to it then can we or can we not actually get ranked for it.

What terms does your audience use to describe your products or services? What other relevant terms do they use in their day-to-day lives? Look at blog posts and comments, forums, LinkedIn groups, and your own support requests.

1. Social media active presence
2. Content quality
3. Business type
4. Targeted audience

Finding content gap and filling it up is the most difficult thing to do when it comes to a very competitive keyword.

How to fill content gaps?

I think forum, social bookmarking, article submission and social media is the best you can share a post on a social media channel like facebook, twitter, linkedin, Reddit, Instagram, etc.
