Here is my query. I want to build a landing page which will load extremely fast in Mobile devices so if I build that with wordpress because its truly easy. So, will it be a wise choice?

No it will not be good.

If you want your site to load faster than plain HTML pages will do that for you more. Because wordpress will only make your site larger unnecessarily.

Wordpress is good. But its good for desktop not mobile. Just like Brian said earlier simple HTML page will load faster in mobile devices.

Wordpress is really a good platform to build a website. It has an easy interface to use.
