What do you guys suggest that I should do? How much should I invest in PPC in a product that is worth $100? And if get sales then I will make atleast $10 commission.
$1000 will be great for a start-up campaign. See and track every step. It might not turn out well as expected but it will give you some clarity about how the product is going to work out in the open.
I think $1000 isn't enough you should invest more.

For a general product campaign maybe its okay but for a product whose price is $100 I think budget should be atleast $5000.
I am thinking maybe $2000 will do the trick.

Atleast give it a go with any budget you like. You will never know unless you have actually tried it.
Well after spending $500 on CPM network I finally got one sale and make $20 for commission.
We are not seeing much profit. If I invest say $1000 than the profit on that is maximum $50. Should I increase the amount?
For a beginner you are doing just fine. Yeah you can invest more as you are making little but profit atleast.
