For internet marking, Traffic is important factor. I am working on a india based website (example.co.in ) and i want to do marketing in UK.
First, i want to more traffic from UK. It should be show in google.co.uk.
Can anyone help me out or give us suggestions to ranking in co.uk.
1.Target UK visitors from 'International Targeting' of your webmasters tools account.
2. Find UK based keywords and put it in your posts.
3. Submit your posts in the local directories of UK.
4. If you have much budget then give ads through Google Adwords tool and facebook ads targeting UK audience.
5. Outreach you blog through the social networking sites to the UK audience and your niche professionals.
I just want to ask you that what if I want to promote the site for the USA. The same factor is applying if I want to promote site in usa

Yeah, it applies for all countries. In-fact for US you may apply also these:
1. Get US based server.
2. US based directories are more then any other countries, getting so listed in those are easy one.
3. Use stumbleupon. It will directly send you traffic and also get you well ranked.

I did the same thing with the my site but honestly I confused when I sign up in StumbleUpon. Really can't understand what to do. Site is not a user friendly I guess and keep my steps away from it.
you can do all activities for .co.uk extension sites.

A simple technique we have to follow in SEO work that when we target to anu country then we have to do wrok as per that comuntry. We have to select keyword's that have better search and less compitetion in that perticular country. Then start the work on the realed to that country.

You should submit your website url in co.uk domain directories also do bookmarking as well as. Also your should register .co.uk forum. and need to do posting on daily basis
