Even your customers base is loyal but segmentation is always good. It kepts your campaigns more effective, get conversions for you in a more efficient way and ist good use of resources

Segmentation is a part of targeting the audience. If you target the right client at the right moment then its always helpful.

Well I think that's a relative term here. If your customers are already sorted out and segmented then why divide them more?
