Don't pitch them just offers to get sales and make money.
Show them some value. Regularly post them with good information or new that actually helps them. Provide them actionable data. Engagement with your audience has to be the sole objective.
Personify your emails as much as possible. Make them think that they are interacting with you directly and not to an automated system.

We generally give away free stuff that everybody else is not providing to get attention.

Update them regularly with valued information that actually helps them. Then start pitching offers but not in regular basis, weekly or monthly basis.
