I see a plenty of people do this. They download other people's videos change its style into their own and republish it in the video for share and likes. Is this a really good idea? I mean there should be some rules and regulations regarding this.

While re-publishing they just mention the original poster as their source or just put a link back in it. Social media channels are good in getting things viral but is this not breaking any rules?

First of all its completely unethical and immoral. And not to mention that there will be always a copywright infringement. If you are doing this then probably you must ready to face some serious lawsuit too.

I think its a crime. Because it violates the copyright rule in the first place. It not textual content that you can re-write and re-publish it.

It is not a good idea to download other's video and modify it for own purpose. Create your own video with a unique idea to attract the audience with an eye-catching title.
