Indeed the same happened to us. All day we were flooded with zombies.

G isn't even correcting it's mistakes now.

Not to mention they were all from referral sources.

Yes quality of traffic falling is a good reason from rpm to drop.

Anyway, post update is giving good vibe. So far no funny surprises.
Try to diverse your targeted traffic. It shall increase your rpm.

Indeed it's a good idea. Our traffic is mainly EU and UK. So, whenever any country's rates fall quickly it gets replaced. But UK is hard to replace so it takes some time.
EU traffic is down for us anyway since March. But UK traffic is really performing well.
If you guys are targeting medium competition kw's then it will be good. They are probably have more chances to get ranked than others.

Funny thing is we are targeting mainly high competition keywords.
Hordes of bots are eating up the bandwidth.

Traffic to arts niche have fallen considerably. Usually we get 10-20 leads even in the weekends. But none since yesterday.
