Targeted traffic from any kind of means should be welcomed.

Referral traffic from social media and other what not's are free.

 Others are also free if you look. If someone gives targeted commentary or suggestions offline then also it is possible to draw good traffic.

Anyway, the best way should be forum marketing. Because social media are good for short burst of traffic. For long term things and also brand awareness & reliability you need something more robust.

Try business listing, google and other map listing. Put offline flyers, go to closed groups or paid ones in facebook to talk, discuss & eventually bring audience.

Plenty of methods can be implemented here even if you are not looking for paid ones.

Paid ones are equally bad as getting traffic from ads. They don''t have much meaningful impact other than quick traffic.
