I am trying set foot in the affiliate world. I have been hearing a lot of good things about Google adwords so I am asking for tips for newbies using adwords.
I don't think it will be good idea to use adwords if have no prior knowledge of adowrds then it will be waste of money and time, and further more google adwords in costly try with facebook sponsored ads.

I don't know who suggested it to you. But its totally wrong.

Google Adwords is good for the marketers who already know the facts and turns of running a PPC campaigns. Basically its for experienced users. If you use it without any prior knowledge its almost certain that you will loose money and gain nothing.

If you want to start campaigning then choose a network whose bids in you niche is very low. Start with small campaigns such as $10 first. Don't expect anything because you have to learn first. See everything and track them. Once you have gain some then you can go for bigger budget or adwords.
