I am seeing something similar in Handcraft niche. Which niche are you?
Yes huge blast of traffic. But I think most of them are like zombie so they won't do anything.
And majority of the keywords they are hitting are pretty much useless.

Well atleast in your case the Chinese traffic has been replaced.
maybe that's why I have an influx of Asian visitors. They seem to be doing well since they visit many pages on my website.

I am guessing this weekend won't be slow.
Bots are flooding the sites. An update or a series of updates are incoming.
So far so so.
Our's is subscription based system. So, at once these things doesn't get noticed right away. But still there is always a pattern to check.
Traffic is on the rise. I hope it stays.
