How do you guys think about promoting a new product on the stage of a old one. Suppose, we are talking about this niche. We have launched a keyword research tool which is a huge success and now we are about to launch a link Management tool. Publishing it in the mother site is always good but what if we offer a trial version of the link tool for who have purchased the keyword tool? What do you guys think?
I think its a fantastic idea. If any product is well established then it can always be used to sell more other related products which are new. Some people may not agree with the thing that you offer a trial version of your new product but I do appreciate it. It will increase the trust in your overall brand.
And only getting downloads of the new trial version is not enough. You will have to take reviews of the customers who are using it.
If you have a platform which is already well established then you should always use it is leverage.
But the old and new product have to be relevant to each other and if they are connected then its more better.
