Product page has insightful content of the product but the homepage and main product category page's also have the same content but in a short versions. Is there any possibility that Google is going to consider them as duplicate content?
In the case of an eCommerce site it may happen so Google is not going to red flag you. But I will say that the short versioned content must have a link directed to the main product page which has the full content.
Product reviews are an ordinary thing that occurs in a eCommerce site. But as long as they are relevant and needed. Excessive use of the same content or preview in multiple pages can effect negatively.
In case of e commerce website it can be done but if you are doing it in every page then there is a chance that google can penalise your site.
