If you want to share the experience of yours with your readers that you had gained via conversation with your fellow webmaster then obviously its very good idea. Your readers will also try to get directly engaged with you if they see the conversation. As by then will also get an exposure.

I completely agree with 'motionz'. In this way you will get a good engagement of your readers in your site.
