Many large sites are looking at a dip in traffic.

One of my friend who operates a 20 year old site in arts niche. Took the hit. The thing is these type of sites are kind of evergreen content wise (& everything else). And Google is somehow targeting them. To uplift other players. In this case who are investing in adwords.
Another one !!!

I enjoyed a quite good eCPM rates in adsense for a few days. But as just like Google itself. It again went wrong.

Anywho discover also showed some promising traffic. But don't know for how long it will remain that way.
That's why it's wise to watch. And not to pay much attention. Or, get your hopes high.
Are you seeing any improvement rank wise? Crappy sites are outranking major sites now.
I have seen my site improve. But it didn't stayed. And also discover is sending some traffic so it's 50-50.

And regarding crappy sites. I saw it too. Many sites like CNN or BBC are getting outranked. I am thinking may be its a good thing. Wink
This weekend started off good. But yesterday and today in both cases. Traffic fell after a few hours.

Our gaming traffic is down by 40%. And it's a bit of concern.

Today I saw an image outranking a page in the general SERP's. G can't even tell which is what now. Tongue
Big sites will be back. G will only crush the small ones.
Compared to this time last year. Traffic is good in terms of quality.

But in terms of quantity not so much. After the June Update announcement around 30% fall in International traffic.
Many of us are also seeing a considerable rise in traffic. It's not all bad. I myself saw a rise and then fall since last week. Tongue
