Getting review is not a necessity but it has no downside also. Yeah, surely you can generate traffic from it along with it you will also have the opportunity to improve your community.

If the host site has considerable amount of traffic and you have got atleast better then average review then it is very obvious that you will get some traffic from it.

Reviews always helps you to gain traffic no matter what happens. And some positive points in your review will help you even more. Try to get reviews and feedbacks from the giants in your niche not only it will give you a huge exposure but also it will help you improve your community.
