My blog is about 6 months old. It has 28 posts among which 2 posts are ranking pretty well in the search engines. They get me around 200 visits per day. So here is my query should I apply for adsense now or go for any other monetizing options? Or, wait a little bit more. What's your say?

Well as your blog is about 6 months old so its completely fine that you can apply for adsense or go for any other monetizing options. But I will suggest you to wait a little bit more for this. As you have said that your only two urls are been indexed and ranked so its not wise. If any of these urls falls from their rankings then you might loose your entire traffic stream. Get atleast 10 urls ranked first. Build a good audience base and then go for monetizing.

Create an YT channel and then apply for adsense it gets approved faster, get a few more keywords ranked before placing ads
