After this May Core update from Google. People are very curious regarding this. Large post pages with very long loading time are effected negatively. What's your say in this?

Not necessarily. Loading speed only have effected sites negatively where the competitors have a blazing speed of loading.

Large post pages may have been effected but only if they haven't load or have very large image or of such sort in them.

A minor loading time which is common among all sites are acceptable but if the loading time will be too much then the user will not stay on your website and hence you lost the traffic which further leads to ranking!!

The actual truth is everybody's speculating or assuming. The so called survey claiming 100 or what not man-hours invested to understand this update. Are basically charts from few sites, they don't even cover all the main sites of any particular niche. Dodgy  So, you can figure.

My personal opinion is that make your page fast as possible. You don't have to necessarily score a 90+ or whatever the good metrics are in any particular speed testing tool. Do your part well and stop worrying so much. Blush

Effected negatively is a bigger term. Any update broad core or smaller regular updates can effect any page, if it creates too much drag. So, focus on your optimization not your loading speed.

In My opinion, there can be a little chance to get ranked on google if you have slow pages. Page gonna show in a lower rank cause for google new update page ideal loading time is half-second or under 2 second.

So if your page rest things are fixed and good but loading time are less still you will slightly rank rise.
