Use any good tool to do the research. Researching for effective keywords can be done in many ways. At first organize your keywords in sub-categories such as genre, brand type, related type to the original one, competitor keywords etc. After sorting them to lists analyze each and everyone of them which have more value and less competition, target those on your PPC campaigns.

The keyword research for PPC campaign is same like of general keyword research just you have to be more cautious as you will be investing money here.
