How effective it will be if I use video files in my day to day emails that I send to my subscribers? Or, just it will be a bad idea.

Don't use video files in a daily basis that's a bad idea. Yeah, it can be used once in a while but don't use them unless it is super relevant.

Video files in email are not necessary unless they have complete importance and relevance. I mean major part of the email users access their mail accounts through mobile devices. And the video files will only make them it hard to check the entire email.

I have friend of mine who was red flagged due to the use of video files. So, be very careful while using them.
