Having more than one theme for a community site
#1
Recently I have discussion with a community forum owner. He said he have more than one theme installed in the forum. Once a user joins the forum. He or she can choose the theme as per like. Do you guys do that? And I know that better user experience means more good for website. So does it have any advantages? What do you guys have to say about this?

It is somebody's sole personal choice to give a chance to choose more than one theme to her or his members. Apparently it doesn't have any advantages.

And personally I think that forums are dynamic sites so they are bound to get complex. Giving more than one theme even to the members is a very complex thing in itself. So avoiding it will be my choice.

In my opinion it means. More work specially unnecessary ones for admin. And not mention it increases the possibility of getting hit from any kind of malware. I will avoid it unless there is a huge demand from the existing members base.
