Share your experiences and views about how do you promote your new forum. Forum promotion is a very vast area, different techniques are used by different webmasters and admins. Share it so others can get help from it.

Yeah, indeed there are plenty of ways to promote a new forum. Forum posting, social channel shares, guest posting on your niche blogs etc all very popular. But personally I prefer forum posting in my niche forums, creating valued article and posts in them gives a tremendous advantage as authoritative figure in every niche.

Forum posting is always good to get targeted audience and members who can add value to your community. But also when my forum was new I used some PPC campaigns such as adwords to get a boost at the first.
