What kind of theme would you prefer for a Travel/Photography blog? I mean picture centered or content centered where you can post videos too.

Picture along with details. In a travel blog details are also necessary like places to be, ways of travel, their prices etc.

Nobody wants only pictures. Its not a wallpapers site, right?

They also need information about those pictures. So, choose a theme which is appropriate for them.

You can also put pictures and content separately. In this way you don't have to reduce them but I will not recommend it. Its not very user friendly.
