The ways that I follow are giving away free stuffs like free ebooks, tutorials, services etc.

It basically depends on what type of niche I am using this strategy. It varies tremendously. In which what works. But as you are talking about online business so it can be free ebooks, video tutorials, free softwares, free trials for any service etc.

Sometime, creating on behalf of recent events which can trigger emotional aspect of the viewers can also be very helpful.
