Bing Indexing problem
#1
Here is a problem which we are facing right now. One of our site has two versions one for desktop and another for mobile users. They both have separate landing pages too. Now it has come to our attention that there have been certain unusual activity with the Bing users.

The problem is when a desktop user from the Bing SERP's comes to the site it lands on the mobile version of the site and then gets redirected to the desktop version. We are checking various factors but we have no clue what to do about it.

I don't think that its a problem you should worry about. We see a lot these things. As long as it is redirecting the desktop users from the mobile page you shouldn't do anything. The problem will get fixed by itself if you ask me so give it some time.

We had this problem a while back. It happened because out desktop's landing page wasn't indexed at that time. After passing a fair amount of time the desktop landing page got indexed and the problem solved itself.
