Is it okay to add anyone from their Business Cards? I mean after exchanging business cards.

Well you can ask them as if they wanted to your email subscription or not when following up with the contacts of the business cards. Or simply, ask them directly while you are exchanging the cards.

I used to do it. You have to ask them in anyway if they are interested for getting any email or not this thing is pointless.

Just ask them nicely. Most of the time they subscribes instantly.
