Separate blogs in one site

Separate blogs in one site. I mean one blog for posts of mine only and another for guest posters. Is that a really good idea?

Why do you want to do that? People accept guest posts primarily to increase the posts count. Yeah, obviously, you can do that but only if you have enough ideas and also streaming of good articles in your site. Your site has to be big enough for that.

Yes you can do that but for this idea your website should be a big one. The traffic should be high, then only this idea will work.
